Welcome to my homepage !

Jack summer  .
Wulong tea is mainly produced in Fujian,China. The technique for processing was taken by Fukienese migrants to Taiwan, that is called Tungting (Dongding) Wulong tea. There are some difference among mainland and Taiwanese Wulong teas ,taste and medicinal function, due to different soil, processing, and fermentation time. Wulong teas from the mainland are said to have more body, the result of longer oxidation, than those from Taiwan.

wulong tea Differences between Wu Long tea and other teas

Wu Long Tea (Oolong ) is a semi-oxidized tea, occupying the middle ground between green and black teas. Combining the best qualities of green tea and black tea, Wu Long Tea is not only as clear and fragrant as GreenTea, but also as fresh and strong as Black Tea. If you drink Wu Long Tea, the natural aroma may linger in your mouth and make your throat comfortable.

How to make a cup of wulong tea
The traditional way to make oolong tea is known as the Gong Fu method.
This involves using a small teapot, sometimes called a yixing teapot, which is made from unglazed clay. The teapot is filled with hot, lightly boiled water and then is emptied. Tea leaves are then put in the teapot - about 1/4 or 1/3 of the volume of the teapot, and the pot is filled about half way with hot water. This is the first infusion and is not meant to be drunk; it makes the tea leaves “awaken” and start to unfurl and also removes any dust or impurities from them.
This tea is then poured away and the teapot is re-filled with hot water and left to steep for about 30 seconds up to a minute, before being poured into tiny cups for serving...

or like this:

1. Preheat the teapot.

2. fill the teapot 1/4 full of Oolong Tea;if it is High Mountain Oolong Tea, please fill it 1/5 full.

3. The first brew is used only for warming up the teacup. (The first brew is poured into the cups immediately. )

4. For the second brew, let the boiling water drops between 90c and 95c, and then pour it into the teapot with high and slow way.

5.Wait 25 to 30 seconds then pour it into the tea pitcher.

6.Pour the tea from the tea pitcher into smelling cup and wait for a couple of seconds.

7.Pour it into the drinking cup and enjoy the flavour of tea from empty smelling cup.

8.Enjoy the color, fragrance, taste and essence of the tea.

P.S. If the tea becomes lighter, you could add 10 seconds to steep the tea.
